There was a bear on the loose and was going through camp and had tore up a bunch of sewer hoses for the trailers and left paw prints everywhere, but few had seen him. So we got up there Friday night and he came through and tore up our quad seats we had left the quads in the back of a utility trailer and he climbed in and tore up the seats to two quads and then he proceeded to tear up everyone elses quad seats as well, so they ended up having to call fish and game dept to drop off the bear trap.
They bait the bear with some ole fashion bbq sauce and then put it all over in this bucket and once he pulls down on the bucket the back door slams shut.

This morning pops woke us up and said the bear is coming through camp...so here's a few pics we got of him....
A little blurry on this one...he wasn't a very photogenic bear...lol
It's kind of harder to tell, but the bear is sitting on the porch to this cabin and is sucking out the bird feeder. He did this for about 15 min, until he finished off two of them and then we spooked him and he took off...(note to self...bears prefer Bird Feeders to bear traps with honey bbq sauce in it...someone should let the fish and game dept know to update their training manuals :)

Krissy! You're alive!! :) I was super excited to here from you and from the look of your blog it appears that you are living it up...I'm mean you've got you're very own trailer with a sweet deck, a few quads, I love it. Sorry that crazy bear tore the seats of your quads up and I agree, that bear trap stinks, it definitely needs help. Miss ya tons and keep in touch!

That's kind of scary! Sorry about the seats :( I hope Fish and Game helped replace them!
Looks like you guys had a good time...even though we weren't there. Just think about all the fun you would have had if we would have been able to show up!!!
