Nesting

Friday night we had the chance to do a mini trial run at being parents. It's what most parents get now a days right off the bat. In the NICU they have a couple of rooms set up that are called "Nesting rooms." For a normal delivery of a kid, parents are often given their child in their room within a couple of hours after birth. But here in the NICU it's been different. We never slept in the same room as the little guys. So these rooms are intended to be a trial run with the kiddos, but intended to give you access to all the help needed should something come up. It was a great experience overall. Crazy to hear all those little kid noises. Definitely grateful to our hospital staff-

Dean and I did that with DT. We were both so nervous about being the only ones incharge of him instead of a whole staff of nurses and doctors.
We are so happy for you 4! They must be Fast Learners to becoming home so quickly..... :)
