New home away from home...

This past weekend we went up to ShowLow and went up there to camp out and watch the Fireworks Show in Heber...the show was all it was cracked up to be. It was in a sort of canyon area that made the fireworks echo all over. We were also looking for a spot where we could leave our camping trailer on a more permanent basis as gas is now ridiculous and the costs have made it too expensive to take out....so we looked at a couple of sites and now have it parked here, where we can just drive up in a regular car and don't have to worry about pulling anything....

Here's the view from the top of the hill next to the campsite...On a clear day and facing more to the east you can see the Snowflake Temple from this hill....

Another view of it, our trailer is the farthest to the left that you can see in the picture...

They have the playground set up for the kids from the valley and from ID to come visit!

Our site has the picnic table/firepit/bbq grill in it that looks out to the little meadow...

Mad props to my brother Trav for driving it to it's resting spot. It was quite the battle, but now its finally situated and we don't plan on moving it....we're going to trim the trees and make a little deck there next to the door....

To level it all out was pretty tricky as well...we had to use quite the blocks/jacks in the back of it as well to help level it all....

Wowza!!! That is so beautiful. You guys don't mess around. Nice to see Krissy won't be roughing it out there.

Hey Karis - where are you living? We just got to AZ, and I'd love to see you if we're at all close. Shoot me an e-mail, will you?
