Gingerbread time

My bro and his wife invited us over for the Gingerbread house making. It was Krissy's first time and I don't want to say it...beginners luck maybe...but hers came out looking SMOOTH!! Mad thanks go out to Mick and Nik for inviting us over...we loved it and look forward to doing it again next year!!

Here are the four finished products...

Marsh's house explanation--I work for a small semi-custom home builder...it only makes sense to have a side entry garage!

Krissy's house explanation--It only makes sense to have one sweet house, with a swimming pool off the upper deck, complete with folding lawn chairs for that pool side relaxation...impressive!

Nik represented the Moore clan with the Swis style village cottage complete with our "M" on it...

Mick showed us how business gets done with his rendition of the candyland mansion complete with chimneys, cars out front and a little snow to top it all off!

All in all it was a bit tougher than we thought...the Food network shows make it look so easy to build a pirate ship out of graham crackers! We had a blast doing it, thanks again guys for the invite!
