It was our favorite big city we've visited...
By taking some wrong turns downtown we were able to stumble on to this place for dinner...some of the best Philly (Go figure since its Chicago) Cheesesteaks and Chili...we think it was called Trainside Cafe or something like that--
Classic sign...the workers lived up to it too....
What a combination...Polish dogs, hamburgers, Hotdogs and Porkchops? Can you guess which doesn't belong? The chicago dogs were good stuff...
Here's a pic of the skyline and us on Lake Michigan...no we didn't even plan matching jackets... :)
We then headed on to Indiana...Goshen and Shipshiwana to visit the Amish country....we had a great time---
Amish market parking lot...
Elementary School parking lot...
Some things we learned about the Amish...
1. They speak Dutch and German to each other
2. Most common place the Amish work...RV Trailer manufactures
3. Menanite Amish use electricity and regular Amish don't
